We’re Nayim and Shazlin, the husband-and-wife duo behind Studio Fajr.

When we were newlyweds decorating our first home, we struggled to find pieces that truly reflected who we are—Islamic decor that was meaningful, made to last, and connected to our heritage. What we found instead was mostly mass-produced, generic, and lacking a story.

So we started making our own.

With Nayim’s love for wood and eye for detail and Shazlin’s background in architecture, design, and her work as an artist at Her Sarong, we combined our passions to create decor that felt authentic, spiritual, and lasting.

Our designs are inspired by Islamic architecture, sacred geometry, and historic landmarks—bringing centuries of artistry and spirituality into the modern home. Each piece is made with care and intention, so it can be cherished for years to come.
